Sena can do "flip-up helmet" quite excellently. The Sena *Impulse* is the best proof of this. It is the result of the successful combination of solid helmet construction technology, unique Sena mesh and Bluetooth intercom technology and the profound sound know-how of Harman Kardon. This makes it the ideal touring partner for all those who like to be on the road with many others and who do not want to do without top sound, either in conversation, news, or entertainment.
The helmet itself impresses with a lightweight composite fiberglass shell and a comfortable, modular design. The ventilation system with four air inlets ensures a constant air flow. The *Impulse* is equipped with a retractable sun visor that protects the rider from excessive glare. It is Pinlock-prepared. The ratchet strap keeps the *Impulse comfortably and securely in place while riding. Also noteworthy is the LED taillight. It provides a plus in passive riding safety.
The integrated Sena mesh and Bluetooth intercom technology in the Sena *Impulse* provides connectivity with any current Sena device. Typical for Sena here are the impressive performance data. Amazing, the possible ranges (Bluetooth up to two kilometers, 4 drivers and Mesh up to eight kilometers, via Internet almost unlimited number of drivers). This communication technology is complemented by first-class speakers and a microphone seamlessly integrated into the *Impulse*. Developed by the audio experts at Harman Kardon, they bring an unprecedented level of precision and clarity to helmet acoustics.

As the company boss is a biker himself and was dissatisfied with the Bluetooth headsets from other manufacturers, Sena also began producing communication solutions for bikers in 2010. The devices developed from practical experience are already well established on the US market and have won numerous independent comparative tests, not least because they are extremely simple and intuitive to use. Even when wearing motorbike gloves, it's easy to find the ingenious JogDial/push button at full speed instead of having to search for lots of different buttons. We are pleased that we are now also able to offer sophisticated Sena communication systems in Germany.
