50S Communication System

In the world of Sena communication systems, the 50 Series is now available. Here is the Sena 50S communication system, featuring the tried-and-true Jog Dial design. Compared to its predecessors, it has been comprehensively upgraded in both hardware and software, with the improvements focusing primarily on connection stability and the audio experience. Bluetooth 5.0 has been integrated, and Mesh 3.0 allows 6 people to talk simultaneously and connects up to 24 participants in total.

Sena’s adaptive Mesh networking technology enables effortless connection to the group intercom system. And if a rider goes out of range, Sena ensures seamless communication with the rest of the group. At the same time, the Sena 50S automatically reintegrates all riders into the group as soon as they’re back in range. With this dynamic group structure, complicated pairing attempts are a thing of the past.

Thanks to Sena’s groundbreaking Adaptive Mesh Networking technology, which works in conjunction with Bluetooth, the 50S offers more connections than ever before. With an innovative dual antenna and two separate processors—one for Bluetooth and one for Adaptive Mesh Networking—the 50S can establish connections to each processor simultaneously thanks to its multi-operation capability. This means you can connect up to 3 additional communication devices to your Sena 50S headset via Bluetooth 5.0 and then integrate them simultaneously into an existing Mesh networking group.

Communicate reliably and clearly in Hd audio quality with up to 24 other riders within a maximum range of 2 km. The 50S also enables targeted group management, allowing you to organize users into groups and differentiate between them based on the group. In addition to these private groups, you can search for motorbikers within a 2 km radius who are also using a Sena 50S with just the push of a button. You’ll be automatically connected to them.

Sena 50S Audio Multitasking technology allows you to carry on conversations via Adaptive Mesh Networking while simultaneously streaming music from your smartphone via Bluetooth, answering or making phone calls, or playing detailed GPS navigation instructions. Users no longer have to deal with the audio interruptions typical of earlier Bluetooth communication devices. Now, audio functions no longer interrupt each other but instead overlap, ensuring a pleasant listening experience. Enhance your rides with seamless audio sources.

With the Sena smartphone app, you can configure device settings (e.g., add a group of biker friends to the hands-free system) and view the quick start guide. Simply pair your phone with your 50S headset and launch the Sena smartphone app. This allows you to adjust settings directly from your smartphone.

The 50S’s new fast-charging feature provides about 3 hours of battery life after just 20 minutes of charging. On the road, the 50S can be controlled entirely via voice commands. The intuitive technology ensures safe, controlled riding by seamlessly switching between music, phone, and intercom functions.

The 50S’s universal mounting options—including clamp and/or adhesive mounts—along with its interchangeable cable and gooseneck microphone, allow it to be used with almost any helmet, whether it’s a jet, flip-up, or full-face helmet. The Sena 50S is compatible with Sena’s optimal Handlebar Remote control as well as all 20S clamp accessories.

Important Note:
The headset’s firmware can be updated. You have two options for updating the firmware. You can update the firmware using the Wi-Fi adapter or the Sena Device Manager (PC). If you use the Sena Device Manager for the update, the device must be connected to the PC using a standard USB charging and data cable (USB-C; not included). Do not use the Wi-Fi adapter for this process.
